If your business is based in Spain, it must follow Spanish anti-fraud regulations, and the app is built to comply. This limits how you can edit and delete invoices.
What you can and can't change
You can edit an invoice after you save it
Once you email, share, print or export it as a PDF, you can no longer edit or delete it
If details might still change
If you can create pro forma invoices, start with one - you can edit a pro forma invoice at any time
When everything is final, convert the pro forma into an invoice and send it
If you need to correct a sent invoice
Create a credit note for the original invoice. It should have the same total as the original, but negative.
Then create a new invoice with the correct details
Other restrictions
You can't rename a document type, like an invoice or estimate. You can still change field labels, such as the due date or invoice number.
You can't delete a business that has sent invoices
If you delete your account, we're required to keep your data for 6 years. After that, your account is deleted.
