My invoices and data have disappeared

How to recover your invoices and data after switching phones, logging out, or reinstalling the app

We understand how worrying it can be when your invoices or client data seem to have disappeared. The good news is that in most cases, your data is not lost – it just needs to be reconnected to your account.

Your data is linked to your email account. If you created an account (signed up with your email), all your data is stored on our servers and can be recovered by logging in with the same email on any device.

I switched to a new phone and my data is gone

When you install the app on a new device, it starts with a fresh, anonymous account. To access your existing data:

  1. Open the app on your new device

  2. Go to SettingsLog in

  3. Enter the same email address you used on your old device

  4. Check your email inbox (and spam folder) for the magic login link

  5. Tap the link to log in – your data should appear

Important: Make sure you log in with the exact same email address you used to register on your old phone. If you're unsure which email that was, contact our support team and we can help you find it.

I logged out and now my data is gone

If you logged out of the app, your data is still saved on our servers. Simply log back in with the same email address:

  1. Open the app

  2. Go to SettingsLog in

  3. Enter your email address

  4. Tap the magic login link sent to your email

All your invoices, clients, and items will be restored.

I never created an account (never signed up with email)

If you used the app without creating an account, your data was stored locally on your device only. In this case:

  • If you still have access to your old device, open the app there and create an account (Settings → Sign up) before logging in on your new device

  • If you no longer have the old device and never signed up, please contact our Support Team and describe the issue

We always recommend creating an account – it ensures your data is backed up and accessible from any device.

The magic login link is not working

If you're having trouble with the login link:

  1. Check your spam/junk folder – the email may have been filtered

  2. Wait a few minutes – sometimes delivery can be delayed

  3. Try requesting a new link – go back to the login screen and request it again

  4. Make sure you're opening the link on the same device where you want to log in

  5. Check the email address – even a small typo can prevent the link from being delivered

If you see an ERROR_magic_link error, it usually means there was a temporary issue. Please try again after a few minutes.
